It is comforting to hear the truth occasionaly.
Such a revelation begs the question, “What took them so long?” 1400 years and you just now think of attacking the pope. Of course he IS a harder target than a day care center or a crowded bus.
Two kinds of retreat in war. A withdrawl with appropriate rear guard cover, and the rout. The redeployment is a tactical adjustment of troops with organized resistance to cover against enemy fire. Usually units leap frog each other so that there would be a harassing fire to suppress the enemy advance.
A rout is when panic grips the troops and they run.. No organized resistance, just broad backs for targets as they flee for their lives. The end result of the “rout” is usually annihilation of the fleeing force.
Soooo, Bama said if we gave him the job he would get out us of Iraq. He was strongly advised by his generals to leave the a transitional force or face consequences. But POTUS knew better. He decided on the Rout route for his buy-in to an express elevator to Elysium.
No covering force was left to ensure a smooth transition to a peacetime state. Panic however, cannot be fingered for the cutting and running in this instance. We cut because the POTUS had his ego on the line concerning his promise to get us out of Iraq and he was beginning to feel the heat But what the heck, he got us out didn’t he!
12000 Iraqi’s. have died in 2014. The greatest number of deaths since 2008.

I am concerned about the women who will be captured. Things will not go well with them. If a fighter dies at the hands of a female he cannot go to heaven and get his virgins. They will want to send a message to women to scare them away. They will do horrible acts and be quite public about it in an effort to frighten women from fighting. The thing that is guaranteed to make a jihadi fear death is a woman on the trigger.
But a lion-hearted woman is a beautiful thing. A woman who understands and carries the values of men is a universally cherished woman. Though feared by the weak man. And a work-out for the strong man.

“Workplace violence” Spreading as an Epidemic into The New World
About five days ago ISIS sent out the call for a general fatwah to kill infidels “anyway you could”. One way mentioned was automotive attack. Carried out by a Canadian Jihadi who ran down two soldiers killing one and injuring the other. Essentially a general ZOMBIE call to arms has been made. And they are coming out of the walls.
I found this video in an online Israeli newspaper, “7 Israel News”. It is raw, Awkward, pompous, preachy and precious at once; such vids are worth a look. For their archeological value if nothing else.
Christians have been in conflict with Islam since 1095 when Pope Urban II declared the first crusade. Actually we had trouble with the Muslims well before 1095.Thus the reason for the crusades! Islam, by declaration, is in conflict with any belief system that is not Islam. (DuuHHhh) Christianity is life-affirming and tolerant of others. Islam is death oriented and condemning of others. Christianity as it is presented in the New testament, is a spiritual belief system with certain spiritual mandates, Love thy enemy, turn the other cheek etc.
The Koran, offers a legion of mandates over daily activities. It’s spiritual lessons are tepid and sporadic, taking second billing under how you wipe your butt, who can be screwed and who cannot, butchery, (people and animals) how much of your war booty should be paid to Mohammed (tribute to the boss). Dress codes, money matters, rules of inheritance, who you can kill with impunity and who you can’t, treatment of sex slaves won in battle etc. etc. are given meticulous attention. Most of Jesus Christs spiritual insights are considered weaknesses to muslims. Most of Islams spiritual reward and insights are considered SINS by Christians. Christianity mandates you search inward to conquer your selfish and self-serving beliefs. Islam mandates conquering the world to satisfy selfish needs, such as aggression, power, control. and sexual pleasure (for the man). Under this directive humiliation of others for personal pleasure/social standing enhancement, enslavement in general and rape slaves are all just rewards of the strict Muslim. Heavy on the sword, light on the love thy neighbor in sharia’s neighborhood.
So they destroy anything they find that is not Muslim in origin.
Ignorance is their creed: Mohammads mission is the revelation of Gods ‘correction’ of the corrupted gospel of the Christians (who proceed the Islam by 600, (six hundred) years. In comparison the truth is outed. The harmony between Jewish and Christian gospel is strongly validated by a shared concordance with the Dead Sea scrolls. Mohammad did the best he could, but his illiteracy and the vicissitudes of memory. left him with nothing more than loosely quilted bible and Talmud stories rendered orally.
Again Islam has begun to press for more. Like the forced depopulation of the original Egyptians, (the Copts), from their homeland, the emergence of ISIS and a general inflammation of the middle east. Oh yes, we have been expulsed from the land of the Bedouin.
The enemy, the Copts, the world knows a religious war has been thrust upon us. But the Unicorn brigade is not sure what to call it.
A couple of postings ago I mentioned the possibility of a “coalescence” or merging of desperate terrorist groups. In all probability the negotiations concerning a reconciliation between ISIS and AL Qaeda is already being cobbled together. Once in a while, CHICKEN LITTLE GETS IT RIGHT!.

Obviously, with two years remaining on this ex-bosses watch, and what looks to be a rough congressional midterm a couple of weeks away, the timing bodes ill for POTUS et.al..

And being the seasoned pro that he is, it is very safe to assume he has access to intelligence we don’t have. And thus it is that…..

ISIS is poised to take Kobani, a small Syrian border town. As fighting progresses the Turkish Army watches but does nothing to help. If ISIS massacres the entire town they will be doing the Turks a favor by killing the Kurds for them. They hate Kurds. All of the generals are screaming that airstrikes alone are a strategy of failure. The publics quickly approaching its saturation point for massacres. Soon the buffoonish nature of Obama’s air campaign will stand in stark relief to the tragic loss of innocent lives it will cause. It is embarrassing that the POTUS designed this strategy for purely political reasons. A pall of foolish tragedy is descending over the administration. Panetta doesn’t want his footnote in history to include “collateral damage” from the Obama strategy-o-tragedy.
When is a good time to go public? Anytime is a good time to save your own skin.
