Around 10,000 years ago the glaciers that covered most of the northern hemisphere were well in retreat. Sciences best reckoning is that such ice ages are recurrent. We should be getting another one someday.In fact, there is an orgy of evidence that supports periodic cooling of the earth.  But to date there has not been a scintilla of evidence that would support global warming. The strange thing is that those who have been poven silly by the hardest winter in decades still have not conceded defeat.
