I was taken by surprise. I was concerned about the culture.  I awoke at the point of Obamas 1st campaign. It was then I was educated. I found out that while I was searching the far frontier for signs of sappers, my own crew had mutinied behind me. Somehow a large portion of the U.S. has seen the ultimate wisdom of the  money and benefits to be had from latching on to the Government teat for a good old suck. The American family is losing it’s identity as the boundries of what it means to be married changes seasonally.  The expendable male has no place at the table  in a welfare state geared toward lending assistance and benefits contingent on his absence. We have destroyed the concepts of success and failure so there is no enticement to excel nor repugnance at sloth.

 

 With success  a curse for the souls who trade off long hours of dedicated work for scraps thrown back after a bloated government has it’s lions share. Bureaucracy is the new aristocracy, with unlimited expense accounts, astronomical salaries and no firing, ever. Obama is clearing a patch where utopia can grow. Unfortunatly, the values that are the superstructure of our American culture, such as Independence, self reliance and industry  constitute the weeds he is pulling.

We see failure in a weak economy, Obama sees failure in that it is still alive at all.

I cherry-picked a hiding from Charles Krauthammer. He was in fine fettle as he took our fearless lead-from-behind follower/leader much smarter person than everybody out there who doesn’t agree with him, Obama for a trip to the woodshed.

Helen Keller wasn’t upset by the freight train bearing down on her.

Obama hasn’t appeared upset by any of the gruesome and highly personal attacks from ISIS/ISIL that have been directed at him. HMMMMM?

No surprise here.  All politicians are utterly consumed with themselves. Culling a winning amount of approval from the unwashed masses requires a juggernaut of ego and self-promotion.  And the more a campaign relies on rhetoric rather than a history of achievement, the greater  the need for deception weaved into the message.

Obama is the poster boy for a new play that opened at the moment of his inaugural. The play, ‘How to Be Made Leader of the Free World Without Really Trying” reveals techniques invaluable to a the modern  socialist despot.    In this instance the helpful main stream  media has consented to step aside, turn away and assume the ‘position’. The ‘position’ requires standing with your feet planted at shoulder width, eyes tightly closed, fingers  deep in your ears and ultimately, your head buried in  the sand. This is the only way an entire campaign for president can happen without a thorough vetting of his work history. Harvard transcripts sealed, and work history ignored by the MSM,  never won a campaign in his life and  a congressional seat  won by watching his opponents disqualify themselvess. Obama really is the Lone Stranger!

His predecessor, though not the sharpest tool in the shed, had the humility to select a competent team to advise his actions. Obama will go it alone. He will balance the fate of three hundred million people on the tip of his EGO.

They stand in stunned silence as their wonderboy eats dirt  dead last in every heat. Coming in behind the kid with one leg five inches shorter than the other!

The shame as Harry Reid lies these days. it is with a voice cracking in the  effort to hold back the sobbing. There is no joy in Marxville tonight. Their boy has been fanning home plate so much he was awarded a green contact as a wind generator. Five whipping boys have been beat to death during his administration. He fans the plate and they pay for it.

Truth is truth. Truth is truth when whispered through the concertina wire at the edge of a gulag in Siberia. Truth is truth if shouted from a grass hut in Fiji. Through the ages our character as sentient beings has been handed from one generation to the next. Only because the ideas, thoughts and values remain unchanged  through the ages.

Our Government is suing companies for requiring employees to know the English language. Big  Bro is watching and listening. Big Bro says you cannot handle the freedom to make business decisions for your own company.  This freedom is now a crime. The  freedom to make  independent decisions has been recinded.

If Eric Holder ( “Holder down while I finish Barack!”) is allowed reset the gauges on the truth-o-meter, he is establishing precedent.  Would the present administration enjoy flying airlines with air traffic controllers who couldn’t speak English?  And if it is established that you cannot be compelled to know information that will enable you to do the job, then it is discrimination if you expect the surgeon to know the difference between a heart and an appendix.

Wait, wait, this is getting too murky.  I cannot make out what the issue is. Hmmmmmm, (thoughtful look up and to the left). Oh yes, it is hard to get a handle on this issue because……THERE IS NO ISSUE!

I guess the immutable truth is…Never let a progressive (gutless wonder) see how the sausages are made. If he doesn’t like what he sees he will make it a crime to make sausage. Truth is truth and it stands like a rock, unchanged against the travail of ages. And it (truth) is truth only when it’s  fragile,  so fragile a child’s breath could destroy it. All at the same moment.

Wright the insufferably loud Marxist preacher he adopted as a surrogate spiritual ‘father.’ Hired him when he had never worked a real job in his life. Hired him in spite of the fact he said he was going to ruin the coal industry. Hired in spite of the fat that he said he was for income redistribution (with Joe the Plumber). Hired him because he was black?

One morning America woke up with her pantyhose on backward and no idea what she did at the party the previous night. That is where we are at right now.

ISIS has renamed itself ‘Islamic State’ and has declared a Caliphate of the Iraqi territory it has claimed to capture. Note, any territory claimed in Iraq will more than likely contain thousands of miles of nothing but desert. Now there will be some concentrations of dead families and such, these will be designated as cities.
But the grim truth of the matter is that they said they would and they did. They wanted a Caliphate, Usually the little terrorists state they want a world-wide Caliphate. I guess they are re-evaluating their process.
We as well as Iraq are standing at the crossroads of history. We are waiting to see what happens.
Let us roll that around our mouth for a while. We are waiting to see what happens. Action has been usurped by sideline hand wringing. We used to lead the world. Now, under the Obama doctrine, we wait and see.

America was a backwater and a lot liked it. We saved the world a couple of times and stepped onto the world stage when we faced down the Soviets for forty years. We fought the proxy wars and each side had its despots. Each side played its proxies like Rock’em Sock’em Robots. Now we have walked away from the game. We have, in effect, opened the door for the Iranians and Russians. And they are on their way already.

Takrit is the target for Iraqi army. I think they will take it. After that,…who knows?

“My bad?” He led from behind. He gave them the word that we were accepting the blame for every horrific crime that Islam and it’s followers have inflicted upon an undeserving world population. The betrayal that was the “Egypt Speech” put out the word that it was open season on every U.S. interest in the middle east. The hubris of the arrogant ignorant rears its devilish silhouette when we stood by and “led from behind ” as the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the Granddaddys of terrorist organizations, hijacked the Egyptian elections.
When the charming Mr. Morsi began restricting freedoms the Egyptians said “Hey! Deal off!” They know the ol’ “bait and switch” when they see it. Read the linked article. It is a thorough timeline and analysis that begins to unravel the Gordian Knot of the “Obama policy” in the middle east.

So Palin really thinks that she can get a government employee fired. Impeachment. The word carries a gravitas that gives pause. When such words surface, as with Ma and Pa Clinton back in the early 90’s, Republicans  can be destroyed. Impeachment of a standing president has never happened. Yes, Nixon left office, but it was a case of quitting before you’re fired. If the GOP raises the black flag on a president they had better have good traction and a deadly follow-thru or they will get shot in their own cross-fire. Palin, as a harbinger, brings a mixed bag of qualifiers and detractions to the moment of outing her wicked intent. She has a good political instinct but she presents in such a cornball fashion, trailer park Texas Drawl and all, ( and I know she is from Alaska. Don’t sweat it, how would it sound if I said she had a hound-dog Alaskan drawl?) that one is hard pressed to take her seriously.

Lil’ Deb got desperate and she was peeling the fingers from the gunwales. She whimpered a bit.  She later admitted that  she couldn’t tell whether she was breaking the poor persons fingers or was she just popping his knuckles. Either way his plaintive whail unnerved her.  The pitiful struggle between people who are desperately trying to survive and those who were already in the boat put us inches from foundering.

There are no winners in the illegal immigration game. And those who give false hope to a desperate people share in blame for their demise.

This is an old ritual for Americans. Be it the Cuban boat people or the Vietnamese hordes  escaping after the fall of Saigon, America has always meant prosperity.
The Commies have always asserted that the Berlin wall was erected to restrain the masses of people desperate to enter the soviet union. As soon as they realized how great Communism was. The ugly truth lies in the fact that several people have been shot trying to scale the wall to get OUT of the Soviet Union, not get IN.

Now every pie in the sky promise brings a fresh influx of immigrants from Mexico.Our liberal friends will definitely take credit for any positive outcome to these influxs. But when a few childrens bodies have found dead in the desert from an unsuccessful attempt at a crossing, these generous souls cannot be found.
