These are the fatefull times…when we fumbled the world away.
I remember sitting, holding court as it were, in the student union of my favorite college, with several fellow undergrads, ( over- grads later ) solving the worlds problems in several different idioms based on several different text books being used that semester. No matter what these discussions were about, I felt confident in my assessment of the situation and my conclusions drawn. Fact is, the reason I was such an effortless God was that I was intellectually engaged, but not morally involved in the issues in reality. But in my damning youth I would drape myself in a chair at the table, wax profane at all things great and small and bask in my own brilliance.
Obama sounds like he has been surrounded by individuals who would only reinforce his basic matrix of values.. Obama does not base his decisions on duty, honor, truth, justice or the American way. He makes his judgments based on whether he will benefit personally or politically. It is half an equation that always has Obama as a factor. He is not one to take one for the team. How can he understand an organization that is based on concepts such as duty or sacrifice?
This is the foreign policy of a tenderfoot who thinks he knows much more than he actually does. I would like to suggest he do what Bush did. If your not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree of politics, get a real brilliant team of advisers to give you a hand. But alas, this little Nebob was on the side of the RUSKIES since he sported knickers. He is more than a willing victim, he is a useful idiot too!

I had problems ginning up interest in commenting on the revelations of ex Sec of Defense, Bill Gates. After a moment of thought I came to the decision that my lack of robust reaction was due to the fact that I had not been truly informed by the so-called revelation.
Fact is, I don’t think too many people were surprised. We had already an earful about it being Bushes war,bad economy,…la,la,la… and the paramecium-like quality of his base guaranteed that no one would question his methods or motives. He was to get us out! The mission, successful or failed was of no concern. Victory was carefully avoided in all of this administrations statements about the Afghani conflict. For disengagement had become the prize, not ….ya know…the thing with a ‘V’ in it.
It was the ultimate move on the part of the ultimate narcissist, engage in a symbolic gesture of ‘wagging the dog’ and then run!
So no it’s not news that this monster was the high priest presiding over an American sacrifice of American blood, treasure and reputation. It was merely a ‘confirmation’ of what we already knew.

The first time he lied and was discovered it was a shock, Ya knew it was something unexpected and until now, unusual for Obama to decieve us. Now, after we have been dragged through every “Gypsies stole it. Aliens abducted me and they are in possession of it and won’t give it back. The dog ate my homework.” Eyes wide with shock at the first turn down the country lane. Barely a twitch is registered or a brow arched now that he has exposed his menagerie of wicked lies.
And the Lord will “Double Tap” the house of the condemned.
It is disturbing to me to hear the deafening silence coming from our loyal opposition concerning the “selection” of targets by the guy who carried the most liberal voting record of virtually everyone in congress. Nothing is said in the servile Obamapress corps or liberal pundits that take the commander in chief to task for violating the sovereignty of other nations at will and murdering foreign nationals at will. But, alas, nada. Not a peep. The invariable collateral damage that such strikes cause has been blatantly unaddressed by the national press entities. Is Obama a “Murderer in Chief?” The practice of putting a second missile into the target site is a particularly nasty tactic. After the first missile, those who rush in to assist the injured are visited with a second rocket. And further “collateral damage” occurs. Said damage could be a group of bad guy affiliates or maybe a dinner party with innocent women and children.
Bush did it. This I do not doubt. But he didn’t posture as a moral superior and lord it over the people whom he is to merely SERVE.
It is a question of a value system built upon situational ethics and moral relativism. “Oh! Presto! Chango!.” Pillery the professionals waterboarding some mass murderers to save American lives, then finger those “marked for death” like John Gotti.
