….I wonder if Barack is feeling the icy water around his ankles?  The ship is  foundering. And the sheer number of screw-ups in this administration begs the issue of competence. Dr. Ibrahim, (Awwad Ibrahim etc.)  present and past leader of ISIS was in our custody. But not any longer, he was released by Comrade Obama in 2009.

Every president makes errors. Occasional errors are part of life, and playing gotcha serves no purpose. But when the apparent errors in judgment become the norm rather than anomaly,  it is time to start looking around for somebody who can handle the responsibilities of the office.

Last Thursday it was announced that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will be extended. There are south American newspapers are encouraging parents to dump their kids here in the hope that they will remain in the states.
As yet there is no smoking gun connections that point to a deliberate contrivance. But the border patrol is not happy. I cannot agree however, that the extension of the child arrival program alone pushed this crisis. It appears this is a south of the border precipitated crisis. These parents were encourage to toss their children into the arms and tender mercies of the infamous Coyote people smugglers to bring then abandon here in the hope that they will be picked up and taken care of

Occasionaly a politician should visit his district. So he can whisper sweet nothings and rub his bases butt until they fall into a blissful slumber. For want of such behavior a primary was lost. Cantor forget where he left his districts, Mr Brat picked them up.
Well he defied a few good ‘ol boys back home that held a grudge. Set himself up for vendetta and basicly ignored the rest. Thereby insulting the rest.

But the beast that waited in the woods was a constituency hungry for straight shooters. At least everyone voted as if they liked people who actually could say “I don’t lie.” declaratively and with a command that speaks to truth. Brat did it. He  seems to be the real deal. He is slated to blaze a trail for himself withan entrence this jazzed with theatrical punch.

Several leading retailers are shifting nervously in there seats at the recent disclosures concerning the nature of the shrimping business in Thailand the largest exporter of Shrimp in the world. Major American retailers, including Tesco and Wal-Mart are having to adjust their corsets as things get uncomfortable. I am not on the assassinate Wal-Mart band wagon. The fact that horrors were occurring in their suppliers venue is of little consequence if they had no knowledge of it. If they did know, well “FOR SHAME! “

This post is just for fun. But it does push the “In all things moderation.” idea quite elegantly. Nature provides limitations to behaviors. Most mammals have discrete periods in which they are sexually active. Beyond these times sexual activity subsides. Humans are ready all the time. In a basic way, we are sluttiest mammal out there. I hate to be a buzz kill but I think there is such a thing as a male slut. I can’t accept that men are doomed to their primal drives. Even nature has a problem with behavioral gluttony.

Boko boys have got just under 300 girls kidnapped in a couple of raids on local village schools. Boko boy Abobakar Shekau, wants to sell them, which means he may be willing to ransom them. Goodluck Johnathan (that’s his name) president, has been a regular Keystone cop with lots of bluster and little action of substance. The situation has drifted from the front pages. Not because the situation has been resolved in some way, but because the American public has lost interest. Boko Haram is not a one hit wonder. They have been quite prolific in executing their various terror missions. prior to and since the kidnapping. They may have faded from the ganglia of the average American, but Boko Haram is still cookin’ on the front burner down Nigeria way and each long moment of these little girls ordeal should be more than a good world could bear to endure.
