But the feeding frenzy that had most major news outlets lynching the president for a full day of rapacious ranting damns their credibility and is dangerous for our democracy. “Buzzfeeds” false story accusing President Trump of instructing Michael Cohen to lie to Congress triggered spastic tirades and noose-tying from most of the main stream punditry..  The “Fourth Estate” and the objective reportage of facts has always been welcomed and relied upon to keep the government as honest as possible. I have never, in my 63 years on the globe, seen the mainstream media so hijacked by a political ideology. “GOTCHA!” has replaced “Just the facts, ma’am.”
